All About Rancé
The Rancé perfume line has a history that’s very distinctive. During the 1600s, the Rancé family became famous for selling perfumed gloves to the French aristocracy. Later, in1795, François Rancé opened an atelier in Paris, with the sole purpose to create extremely refined perfumes. His shop became extremely successful and caught the attention of Napoleon Bonaparte, who was known to be a perfume lover. Rancé created the Vainqueur, Triomphe and L’Eau de Austerlitz for him and later “L’Impératrice for Josephine Bonaparte.
For generations, the Rancés have continued their tradition of creating luxurious fragrances, using only the most natural and finest ingredients. Today the company is run from Milan, Italy.
Here at Casa Urbana, we’re proud to offer this highly selective line of perfumes, which also happen to be beautifully packaged.
